OPEN COALITION MEETINGS

We hold Open Coalition Meetings throughout the year to keep the community informed on Scituate FACTS initiatives. These meetings are the best way to stay current on new statistics, share ideas, and learn about upcoming projects, events, and volunteer opportunities.

FREE FUN FRIDAY (YOUTH)

A free, fun and easy opportunity to socialize with peer after school is now offered at Gates Middle School for 8 weeks each winter. A variety of games, snacks, crafts, and music are offered from 2:30-4:00pm. Many thanks to the Friends of Scituate FACTS, Gates PTO, Jack Conway Realty and others who provide the financial support to make this program free for kids to participate.

2024 Free Fun Friday has now concluded! We’ll see you all again in February 2025.

OVERDOSE AWARENESS VIGIL

Taking place annually on August 31st—We participate in a sunrise vigil at Scituate Lighthouse along with South Shore Peer Recovery. Check out our calendar for more info.

EVERGREEN WREATH FUNDRAISER

The Friends of Scituate FACTS is a 501c3 non-profit organization focused on the prevention of youth substance use. An event team is seeking volunteers plan an annual community event, with a goal of raising $5,000 toward SHS scholarships and other youth programming.

Contact the Friends of Scituate FACTS to volunteer for their inaugural event, or to assist with virtual fundraising this school year.
