This donation-based workshop weaves together practices from the Eight Limbs of Yoga including pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, mindfulness, and asanas (poses). Many of these practices have been powerful tools for transformation and healing for thousands of years.
These practices lead to greater self-esteem and greater concern for taking care of oneself. As we learn to better care for ourselves, we can gain a broader concern for family, friends, the community and the world.
